Australasia's largest broker family, Loan Market Group (LMG), has aligned PLAN Australia, Choice Aggregation and FAST under a single management structure, scaling-up localised support for businesses and creating more choices for owners.
The new structure will also strengthen relationships ahead of the Federal Election and broker remuneration review, and increase investment and technology innovation to further the broker-client relationships amidst digital change.
Stephen Moore, currently CEO Choice Aggregation, will lead the three businesses as Managing Director; PLAN, Choice, FAST, effective today. Key to the change is the addition of local support teams, led by State Directors, who will be accountable for highly localised broker support, events and content to broker communities.
Broker businesses will operate as usual with no disruption to their operations, retaining their existing partnership managers, the community they belong to along with their commercial terms and lender agreements. The management change creates opportunities for broker businesses to switch between models more easily, if they choose.
LMG’s Wholesale solution, PLAN, Choice and FAST, now offers brokers the multi-award winning technology platform, MyCRM, to save them time. It also offers the industry’s top-rated compliance solution to keep them safe, backed by strengthened local support.
For brokers seeking personalised, structured business growth and a comprehensive suite of marketing and lead-generation solutions, they can choose the Loan Market and Bring Your Own Brand in Loan Market Group’s Retail model, which continues to be led by Managing Director Andrea McNaughton.
Significantly, a dedicated team of commercial and asset finance experts will be assembled to expand the expertise to all brokers across the entire Group.
The strategic Commercial and Asset Finance arm will build-upon FAST’s profile and expertise in the market, where it accounts for greater than 30% of third-party commercial and asset finance loans. Dedicated asset and commercial partnership managers, area-specific technology solutions and increased lender support will be available to all Loan Market Group brokers.
LMG will continue its commitment of offering brokers choice and support uniquely different models for brokers:
Wholesale models that includes PLAN, Choice and FAST offering a choice of flat monthly fee and pay per transaction models; Retail, that includes Loan Market and BYOB, on a revenue share.
Loan Market Group Executive Chairman Sam White said the change had been introduced after extensive broker consultation and research, and further demonstrates the commitment to be the ‘home for all good brokers’.

“Today’s announcement aligns with our commitment to simplify the Group and continue to invest in what matters for brokers,” he said.
“From delivering award-winning MyCRM to all businesses and centralising our industry-leading compliance team and local leadership, we’re continuing to strengthen the group.
“We’re ensuring our brokers still have strong relationships with the partnership managers they know and trust, but we’ve made ourselves even more accountable with the addition of State Directors.
“Uniting PLAN Australia, Choice and FAST businesses under a single leadership structure will allow LMG to accelerate our strategy of being the best home for all good brokers and invest in more technology and innovation for the future.”
