Mortgage Choice business coach joins Loan Market

Award-winning broker growth specialist Ali Hill has made the move to Loan Market, joining the aggregator to support the growth of businesses across its Queensland network.

Hill has joined Loan Market as its new Business Success Manager, bringing with her almost a decade’s experience driving growth strategies for businesses at Mortgage Choice.

Hill said she was looking forward to helping Loan Market brokers maximise customer engagement and process efficiencies to service the new residents moving to Queensland.

According to the latest internal migration figures released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Queensland gained the most people from interstate migration over the December quarter (net 9,800 people).

“I’m really excited to be joining Loan Market and assisting brokers when there’s so much interest and opportunity in Queensland,” said Hill.

“One of the things that really drew me to the franchise is how it's brought life and fun back into broking, not just profitability. It’s an attraction brand that’s offering something unique for people who have the drive.

“After the years that the industry has endured with the Royal Commission and then COVID-19, I think being able to enjoy what you do is also very important.”

Hill - whose accolades include 2019 Best Aggregator BDM at The Adviser’s Better Business Awards and Mortgage Choice’s 2015 Staff Service Award (Franchisee-nominated) - brings with her a wealth of experience to Loan Market. She spent eight years, out of almost a decade at Mortgage Choice, as Franchise Business Manager where she worked with some of Mortgage Choice’s biggest businesses.

“One of the things that I’ve learned in the industry is that success comes in many shapes and sizes,” said Hill.

“At Mortgage Choice, I worked with two of their biggest businesses and both were very different in how they operated.

“I’m looking forward to working with Loan Market’s Queensland businesses to understand their individual ‘why’, and how I can help them unlock their own strategies for real growth.”

Hill highlighted that Loan Market’s digital innovations were attracting the new breed of borrower who, in turn, also wanted an enjoyable experience from their finance journey.

“If you look at something like Loan Market’s Hello Pack - which is the first digital engagement the broker has with a client - it’s not simply a stuffy credit guide that goes through the motions under legislation,” said Hill.
