Bluestone Home Loans expands broker offering with new NSW, ACT, and SA state manager, new hires, and internal promotions

Bluestone Home Loans has further strengthened its offering to brokers with the addition of Tommy Lee as State Manager for New South Wales, ACT and South Australia.

Lee joins from Commonwealth Bank, where he had been leading the Third-Party Banking Support team in NSW and arrives fresh on the back of the announcement of channel favourite Tony McRae as Chief Sales Officer, doubling down on Bluestone’s broker-first strategy.

The pair will be leading Bluestone’s drive to be seen as the "go to" lender for brokers for non-standard mortgages, and the addition of Lee doubles down on that promise.

The 17-year channel veteran has worked across diverse strands within the lending industry, giving him a unique ability to see solutions for brokers where others may not, which was what attracted him to jump in with Bluestone.

“What brokers are looking for are trusted partners that can improve the customer experience and add more value,” he said. 

“You’ve only got to pick up an industry mag and look at the surveys to see that brokers need support with non-standard lending, and more value outside of the mortgage transaction.”

By leaving the Big Four for a non-standard specialist in Bluestone, Lee is looking to bring all his knowledge to bear on their offering to brokers, maintaining their levels of service while increasing volume.

“My background over the last 17 years has taken in roles across operations, aggregation, lending, retail and fintech,” he said. 

“I know brokers inside out, so I can see and understand the frustrations that they go through on a daily and even hourly basis.

“I’m picking up all those experiences and bringing them to Bluestone. If we’re going to win the game, we need to play heavily in the market of New South Wales, ACT, and especially with the brokers.”

Bluestone Home Loans is also excited to announce several new appointments and internal promotions within its Sales Distribution team. These strategic hires and promotions aim to further strengthen Bluestone's broker support and expand its presence in key regions.

New Appointments:

Trent Homann - BDM NSW

  • Trent brings over 11 years of experience in non-standard home loan sales and lending. He joins Bluestone from non-standard lender RedZed, where he gained extensive expertise in this sector.

 

Natalie Cannizzaro - BDM NSW

  • Natalie boasts a wealth of experience in broker sales and service, having previously worked with major bank NAB Broker and Bluestone Home Loans. Her return to Bluestone will greatly benefit brokers.
