Bluestone announces new major partnership with the Penrith Panthers

On 5 April 2021, Bluestone officially announced a three year major partnership with the Penrith Panthers. This partnership will help raise Bluestone’s brand awareness among customers and make it easier for brokers when talking to their clients about a Bluestone home loan.

As a lender with a strong emphasis on their people and community, it was important for Bluestone to align with a club that shares similar values. With their support for social and community initiatives, and promotion of junior and women’s sport, the Panthers was the ideal choice. 

The partnership will see Bluestone facilitating financial literacy workshops to help the Penrith Panthers community become more knowledgeable about home loans and home ownership. The Bluestone logo will also be featured on the Panthers jerseys in 2022 and 2023. 

Jeremy Tuite, Panthers Head of Partnerships said. “We’re very excited to welcome Bluestone Home Loans to the club’s corporate network. Ever since our initial discussions, the Panthers and Bluestone have been aligned on our community values and we look forward to introducing a number of co-branded initiatives, which will have a positive impact on the Penrith community.”  

This alignment of values is one of the main factors behind Bluestone’s choice of the Panthers over other sporting teams. As Bluestone CEO Campbell Smyth said:

It really resonates that the Panthers care about their local community and are supportive of rolling out further community and social initiatives in conjunction with Bluestone.”

Bluestone and the Panthers will work together on a number of joint community and social initiatives over the next three years.
